Softball History Kaitlyn Kilcoyne has played with the Lady Gator’s travel program since age nine.  Highlights include playing for two national championship teams, (FAST Nationals 2003 & 2004).  Through the beginning of the 2006 travel season, Kaitlyn had been a player for Lady Gator travel teams that had amassed 42 tournament championships.  During her six years with the team she has demonstrated the ability to play multiple positions including an exceptional centerfield.  Her quick jump and explosive arm have made her a defensive weapon we have come to rely on.  During the 2005 season she had 7 assists from  center, including 4 runners cut down at the plate.  Offensively Kaitlyn possess very good power to all fields and has consistently demonstrated her ability to hit in the clutch. 

 

 Other:  Kaitlyn is the daughter of Patty and Tim Kilcoyne.  She is the youngest of three.  Her older brother in attending college, pursuing a Sports Management Degree while her older sister is a teacher and a middle school softball coach.  Kaitlyn is currently in the medical magnet program at Jupiter High School where she played varsity softball as a freshman.  She is interested in pursuing a career in the medical field.  

 

Favorite Highlight:  A laser assist from centerfield to cut down a potential go ahead run, followed by a triple in the bottom of the same inning to help defeat the Jupiter Seahawks 18U team at the Swamp Classic in 2005
