Her exceptional speed, keen awareness of the strike zone, quick hands and surprising power make her a very difficult out and a tremendous asset at the top of the lineup.  Due to her speed, she has worked some from the left side of the plate in past years, but her consistent power and average production from the right side is much to much to relinquish.

High School Softball:  Freshman: In the 2007 high school season, she was the lone Freshman starter for the District 9, 6A Champion, Palm Beach Gardens' Lady Gators.  Playing leftfield and second base, she was the team's third leading hitter with a .402  batting average and was team's second leading scorer with 26 runs in 30 games.  She was 9 for 9 in stolen base attempts and had the team's third highest On Base Percentage (.489).  Due to her efforts she received the team's "Rookie Of The Year" award.  Sophomore:  In 2008 she played second base (23 games) and shortstop (9 games) while batting lead off for the District and Southeast Regional Champion Lady Gators.  The team finished as Runner-Up in the 6A State finals.  Playing an aggressively competitive schedule, including a four game swing in California, Haley lead the team in runs scored  (26), doubles (11) and stolen bases (8).  Additionally, she finished second on the team in hits, triples, walks, total bases, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.

Academic: Haley is an honor roll student, finishing with a 3.75 grade point average in her freshman year. She is enrolled in the school's Sports Management magnet program.  Following three years as an honor roll student at BAK Middle School, she was accepted as a vocal major at the nationally recognized Dryfoos High School for the Performing Arts.  However, due to the absence of a softball program, she turned down the offer and attended high school at Palm Beach Gardens.

Other:  Haley is one of two daughters of Dave and Mary Fleming.  Her younger sister Corey plays for the 12U Orange Lady Gators.  Dave is one of the Miken Lady Gator coaches and has been coaching within the Garden's program for over eleven years.  Haley lettered in school softball and soccer and also has played travel soccer for the Palm Beach County Kicks travel soccer program.

Favorite Softball Highlights:  Homerun over the center field fence to defeat the Vienna Stars 1-0 at the 2005 NSA World Series and the thrill  of plying in the Florida High School 6A State Championship games in 2008.

Personal Goals Play college softball and beyond.  While she wishes to continue to write music and sing, she is very interested, if possible, in pursuing a career which will enable her to be involved in coaching softball.
