In memory of
Amanda Buckley, the
"Give a Smile to a
Child" Foundation,
along with the
assistance of the
City of Palm Beach
Gardens and generous
donations from both
the public and
private sectors of
our community have
begun construction
of the Amanda
Buckley Memorial
"Field of Dreams"
Stadium. Upon
completion the
facility will
provide our
community with a
beautiful
state-of-the art fastpitch softball
stadium inclusive of
permanent chair back
grandstand seating,
concession stand,
bathroom facilities,
announcers booth,
enclosed seating
area, concrete
dugouts, home team
locker room,
manager's office,
brick wall backstop
with easy view
backdrop netting,
(2) practice fields,
(4) batting cages,
(4) pitching
stations, 8,000 sq.
ft. training multi
purpose building,
and a memorial
garden.
The following

the facility

centerfield view of
the stadium.
The facility will
be located in Palm
Beach Gardens at
10235 Plant Drive,
the site of the old
Palm Beach Gardens
High School Baseball
Field. The
following altered
aerial photograph
displays the
location and
orientation of the
field relative to
the adjacent
athletic facilities.
The facility is
being constructed in
phases with Phase I,
comprised of the
field, dugouts,
brick wall backstop
and netting, planned
for completion late
January 2008.
The stadium will
be the home of the
Palm Beach Gardens
High School Lady
Gators for the 2008
and 2009 softball
seasons.
Additionally, plans
are in the works to
host a College
Exposure Tournament
at the facility on
the 3rd though the
5th of October 2008.

planned for Phase
II.
Through the efforts
of our community, we
all have an
