Hitting a softball correctly involves more than you might think.  As tee ball coaches you are often providing the first instruction in proper swing mechanics for most of your players.

Fielding a softball can be a challenge for a 4, 5 or 6 year old.  Varying levels of strength and coordination play a major role in learning proper technique and development.

Throwing a softball using the proper body mechanics will greatly improve distance and accuracy for young players.  However the reinforcement of poor throwing mechanics can create some very hard to break habits.

Base Running is always fun for younger ages.  However, proper instruction in running form and an awareness of situational base

running can both be introduced to the tee-ball league players.
